THE DOCTOR’S HOUSE

A house built of stone is located next to the road. It was built in the 19th century and is well distinguished by its façade. The house is decorated with profiled window rims made of mortar and pilasters.
There is an exceptional spiral motive above the doors, the cellar and the ground floor are connected with indoor staircase. Inside the house there is an interesting room arrangement, the kitchen is in baroque style and has a high vault ceiling.
The house was owned by dr. Firbas, who used to be a local doctor. After he moved to Graz, the house was named after him as “the Doctor’s house”.
