The memorial stands in a former church vineyard, named Peter's Cellar (Petrova Gorca) and is made of three parts: the pillar, the chapel and the statue of Our Mother of Sorrows with her dead son on her lap (pieta).
The plastic has been severely damaged by the ravages of time, but Jesus's dead body is still nicely visible in Mary's lap. The memorial doesn't have visible year engraved, but it has been estimated to be from the 18th century.
