THE ROCK WINDOW, KUNŠPERŠKA GORA Location: Bistrica ob Sotli Category: Natural heritage

The rock window is a natural phenomenon, which was formed by uneven erosion and the weathering of rock. It is located on Kunšperska gora, which is a forested hill showing numerous signs of diverse natural landscape transformation covered by many rock inselbergs. Looking through the rock window, a view of Orešje and Croatian Zagorje opens up.

This natural window is more difficult to access and is home to different small animal species in spring- and summer-time.
