LOWER PUBLIC SCHOOL IN ZAGORSKA SELA Location: Zagorska Sela Category: Architectural and ethnological heritage

The new Lower primary school building was built in 1889. In 1974, an elementary school in Zagorska Sela ceased to operate and the children since then, until today, attend primary school in Kumrovec. Today, in the renovated building of the old school from 2008 is situated Cultural Center of Zagorska sela. After long 34 years at the school building today gather the children and young and old people. They are members of the cultural association "Duro Orlic" with sections of folk dance, singing choir and music band.
