The chapel on Bojni Vrh, in which a cross with Christ is placed, is according to tradition one of the oldest chapels in the St. Peter below the Holy Mountains parish. It was built to commemorate the Turkish raids. There is no evidence proving the battles with the Turks really took place in Križan Vrh, but the area where the Apnar’s chapel stands is named Bojni Vrh (translated into “The Battle Peak”…
